上記の日程で、
青年海外協力隊の隊員として、
アフリカのベナン共和国に派遣されることになりました。
業務としてはベナンの漁港などの漁業・水産統計の充実のために、
データベース・統計調査の構築や改善に取り組む予定です。
今日郵送で合格通知が来たので、まだこれから手続きなどを済まして、
本決まりといったところです。
それからやらなければならないことは、周囲の親戚・友人・知人への説明。
これには若干骨を折りそうです。。
現地での業務言語はフランス語になるので、
今日は早速フランス語のイロハの勉強をし始めた。
こりゃ、大変に骨を折りそうだ！

I will work at Republic of Benin as Japan Overseas Coopration Volunteers.
The task I may deal with is the construction and improvement of
fisheries database and data collecting system of some fishing port in benin.
I got the notification of acceptance yesterday,
so I have to complete some necessary procedures from now.
and what should I solve first is the explanation to
relatives, friends and some aquaintances.
It can be tough work...
The official language if benin is french.
I started to learn basic french from today.
This will be very tough work!]
